How we earn money

SO-ME participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click through from SO-ME to a partner retailer and subsequently make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. The commission doesn't change the price you pay — you pay the same price you'd pay if you visited the retailer directly.

We work with affiliate networks including Awin, Sovrn Commerce, and the retailers' own affiliate programmes where applicable. These networks track outbound clicks via redirected URLs and attribute commission to SO-ME for purchases made within their attribution window (typically 30 days).

Our relationship with brands

SO-ME is not an authorised reseller, official partner, or representative of any of the brands or retailers featured on this site. The product images, descriptions, prices and availability information you see are sourced from the retailers' own affiliate feeds — these are public-facing commercial data feeds the retailers publish via affiliate networks specifically so partners like SO-ME can display their products.

We use brand and retailer names purely to identify what's for sale and where you can buy it. We don't claim endorsement by any brand. If a brand is featured on SO-ME, it's because that brand has authorised its products to appear in an affiliate network we participate in.

Pricing, availability, and returns

• Prices: set by the retailer. We display the price the retailer publishes in their affiliate feed, but the price you pay at checkout is whatever the retailer charges at that moment. SO-ME has no control over retailer pricing.
• Availability: set by the retailer. A product can sell out at the retailer between our last feed refresh and your click — we always recommend confirming availability on the retailer's site before completing a purchase.
• Returns & delivery: handled entirely by the retailer, under their own returns policy and shipping terms. We surface a summary of each retailer's returns policy on the product page where available, but the retailer's site is always the source of truth.
• Customer service: for issues with an order — billing, shipping, returns, refunds — you'll need to contact the retailer directly. SO-ME doesn't have access to retailer order systems.

Editorial independence

The recommendations, edits, style tips and category pages on SO-ME are editorially curated. We don't accept payment to feature specific products, and earning a commission on a click doesn't affect whether a product is shown or how it's ranked. The product set you see is built from our taste editorial layer, search relevance, and your own preferences (when signed in).
